Madeleine raises £5k in the Great South Run

Congratulations and a big thank you to Madeleine Walsh for completing the Great South Run, which took place in Portsmouth on Sunday.

Madeleine decided to dust off her Nikes and start training in earnest to raise funds for The Maria Falco Trust – the final sum coming in at £5,000.

“Ten miles is a fair distance for someone like me who isn’t used to running, especially in the pouring rain! It was really tough but I knew I just had to keep going.”

And she hasn’t stopped there – Madeleine’s next fund raising venture will be a big bash in Chislehurst next year,  where this time, the calories will be burned on the dancefloor!
