Our popular annual golf day this year was held at the Chigwell Golf Club on Friday 27th April.
Chigwell Golf Club is a traditional private members’ club, set on undulating parkland the 18 hole, par 71, 6296 yard course, presents a real challenge for the most discerning of golfers. Visitors in 2010 have included the PGA, the Royal Variety Golf Society and numerous other Essex County Golf Championships.
A popular venue for prestigious Pro-Ams, County Championships, and quality corporate golf events, Chigwell, designed by Hawtree and Taylor in 1925, enjoys a superb reputation as one of the best golf courses in Essex.
The day commenced with a light late morning breakfast followed by the Golf competition. It finished with the prize giving, a delicious evening meal and small auction.
