On 15th May we had another competitive yet fun day on the golf course to raise funds for breast cancer clinical trials.
We had four teams and 64 players at the hotly contested tournament which was then followed by a dinner and charity raffle.
The winners were…
- 1st – The Girder Boys with 118 points
- 2nd – Four Wise Men with 111 points
- 3rd – The Four Gibbs with 110 points
Over £2,500 was raised, and on the day the trust was able to present £25,000 to Ruth McCrae, Chief Officer at St Margaret’s Hospital Breast Cancer ward to support clinical trials.
